Angry Sheep for the holidays

We asked Justin McCoy of Secret Weapon Miniatures, co-creator of Angry Sheep about the idea for a game about sheep.

His response?


Angry Sheep grew out of another project designer Justin McCoy was working on with developers Matt Hope and Duncan Huffman, from a mechanic called, at the time, Angry Sheep. The name stuck, and the team knew it had to be its own game. Given their mutual love of bickering, and picking on Matt, the idea of a competitive, screw-your-neighbor dice and token game was born. The subtle, or not-so-subtle political quips are tied into punny names for future expansions, where great political figures from history will get their opportunity to make Matt lose the game in an entirely different way.
